Everytime i have to download a windows update it screws up my cool edit pro. Then i have to do a restore, then CEP works again, but am i getting the update?Thoughts anyone?
 
If you keep on restoring, you are losing the update.You can look at http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com to tell you what any given update fixes. I just disabled one "critical" update at the station this week because it broke multiple things.
