Adrian Rogers, pastor of Bellevue Baptist Church in Cordova, Tenn., and a former president of Southern Baptist Convention passed away early this morning (11/15) after battling cancer and suffering with double-pneumonia. Mr. Rogers was 74.

May he rest in peace. He and his work will not be forgotten.
 
About 15 years ago, when I worked for an unbelievable a$$ of a redneck boss - I resorted to Christian radio during work as my only comfort. Dr. Rogers program was by far the best on the radio. I have had the honor of attending his church on occasion. Great man.
 
Adrian Rogers was definitely one of the best. He preached Jesus first and foremost. He will be missed, but we all know he's home now.
