Adult Hits comes to Greenville, SC....again!

Cox has launched "97.7 Chuck FM" in Greenville, SC, a new variety/adult hits station on a 250w translator of WJMZ-HD3.

To my knowledge, this is Cox's first attempt with the format and it's actually pretty good. This is not Greenville, SC's first run-in with Adult Hits - Entercom ran 106.3 Charlie FM from August 2007 until June 2008, until it was dropped for a news/talk simulcast. It's pretty good.
 
I listened and I heard everything from KC and The Sunshine Band to Jason Maraz. Pretty Good, especially since this is Cox we are taking about.

Maybe if Chuck FM works well on the translator there Cox could expand to a bigger signal. Or even pull off the format in other Markets.
