Adult Swim Being Promoted by sister network

Final Destination 3 was on TNT tonite. We had it on at Illusions Dance Club. (A couple of us begged DJ Walt to leave it on one of the TVs at the bar). During one of their commercial breaks they actually ran a commercial for the return of the cartoon "The Boondocks" on Adult Swim. And actually on the screen in read "Cartoon Network's Adult Swim". That's what was equally as surprising as seeing Adult Swim advertised. I had always thought they were trying to keep the 2 separate. I guess maybe they did that so people know what channel Adult Swim is on.

You know when the crowd at the club begs for "Final Destination 3" to be on the screen, the party can't be that happenin'... But I digress...

Anyway, I think it's okay for other Turner cable networks to promote Adult Swim "on Cartoon Network"; it's Cartoon Network that just can't promote Adult Swim on their channel. Most likely because viewers who are not yet of age to be watching Adult Swim programming might be watching.

In the past, I've seen a billboard for Adult Swim that did not refer to Cartoon Network. So I think that's what you're referring to, the fact that the two are actually linked in a promo.
