We are currently planning to syndicate across a number of different stations, all equipped with Barix Boxes of one variety or another. We are looking to personalise adverts to each station at alloted breakpoints in the programming, i'm aware this maybe possible with the Barix Streamers with built in SD Card and USB ports, but we are looking for an alternative as this would probably mean our sponsor equip each station with a new Barix. Would it be possible to implement a computer running multiple sound cards and then on the alloted breakpoint having a streaming server push the adverts to a computer in the station linked to the playout system / desk.
We are looking for a low cost solution that will work across different playout systems. The problem we have is that each station runs a different system, so we can't break from the satellite feed by sending one playlist around, we will have to personalise it.
