I occasionally mentioned what my wife packed in my lunch that day and thanked her publicly on the air. Things like that make you relatable to the female "soft rock" audience.
 
If they have a good PD he/she will coach you.

drop the Howard Stern Lowest Common Denominator theory of T&A potty mouth radio and raise the bar a bit. WMJX wrote the book on how to do "soft" rock and grab market share, learn but don't copy from them.

Who was it that said "rock shouldn't be soft"?
Was it Clark Schmidt?
