Loudcity can do soup to nuts, has some small limitations, however you don't have to host with them if you desire. Plenty of good streaming companies, fast-serv is probably one of the most reliable. I'm currently with mouse-mouse and happy with them.
A great place to get objective listings of hosts can be found on Radio Toolbox
From my own experience- Fast-Serv. Cheap, quality facilities, great customer service. We use their stream for a college station. I have firnds who use them to simulcast their am radio station and another firend who uses them to stream programming for the visually impaired. We all give fast-serv a top notch review.

I reccomend DediStream, DIRT cheap, but EXCELLENT servers, i've never encountered any buffering. http://www.dedistream.com

If you are looking for a premium bandwidth streaming company, I recommend Avex Port, they dont have their site up, but have good rates on high quality premium bandwidth. www.avexport.com
We've been running 2 -128 streams for the past 3 years and for the last 2 of those, have been with RadioStreamHost. They don't oversell and have been as solid as a rock for us. They are also great folks to work with.
They use only Dedicated Bandwidth Servers and are really reasonable. A 24k stream is only $0.20 per listener and a 128k stream is only $1.10 per listener (per month).
DHM202 uses ViaStreaming, they are mid-priced but have an awesome panel. They are the only DHM Channel that uses it, because they are a tad expensive but definitely something to check out..
I can't believe you guys. Just do a web search, do a little research and you can find a company or two that offers 100 128K slots for $50. Thats what I did
Anyone deal with any overseas companies? If one were providing a stream format primarily based towards a different market and wanted it hosted on servers there, how affordable an option is it?
We have a large number of listeners in Europe and Japan for ThePenthouseRadio.com and use ukinternetradio.net for part of our streaming. The folks there have been very easy to deal with. The domestic streaming is handled by Broadstreamer.com. Both companies have rock solid streaming with no buffering. Broadstreamer just moved to a new data center and the switchover was pretty painless.
