AFTER 20 YEARS, RETURN TO AKRON RADIO PROVES INITIAL SUCCESS

Greetings again from Columbus, where an advertising success story is in the making.

In less than one month advertising on the web stream of Radio Free Ohio, my business earned its first sale as a result of this unknown company airing commercials every two hours. The commissions from that one sale paid for one day of spots. ;D

The full details are posted on the Columbus board, as well as congratulations for my rep, Brandon Tidd of Clear Channel Akron/Canton, receiving the 2007 Horizon Award from the John Bayliss Broadcast Foundation.

However, we would like to squelch any rumors that Sam and Serena will be pitching my products in the future. Those of you familiar with my former boss will understand my closing comments.

I did a Google search on him recently. He was working at a nostalgia station in Sacramento a couple of years ago before the station switched formats to...get this...PROGRESSIVE TALK.

This is the station that will remain progressive talk while the Air America affiliate flips.

Proving once again that progressive talkers with business sense like Ed Schultz and Stephanie Miller will be the future of the format.
