After opening credits, Me-TV vs. Antenna TV

Big difference between the two after the opening credits. Me-TV plays a one minute promo. Antenna TV plays about 4 minutes of commercials, or even worse a 4 minute info-mercial.
On openings- Me-TV A+, Antenna TV D-.

Antenna is overloaded with ads for shyster lawyers for medical lawsuits:
“If you died because of taking Cureitall, call our lawyers today!!!”
At least they have some local ads on WREG 3.3 in Memphis.

ME-TV seems to have more real commercials than Antenna TV. And ME-TV New York WZME 43.1 in Bridgeport seems to have at least one local commercial - for the New York Times. Plus they also advertise their new sister station The Works - a classic movie network that airs on WZME 43.2

The only local commercials I see on Antenna-TV WTIC-TV 61.2 are for some of the local lawyers who also advertise on 61.1 including John Haymond, Trantolo & Trantolo, and Carter Mario. Plus they have promos for shows on 61.1 and sister station WCCT-TV 20.1

On occasion Antenna TV will air a one minute news update at 15 and 45 past the hour.

What I don't understand is all the ads for dish network we get on antenna tv. They must be "local" ads, otherwise why would you advertise for a provider that doesn't even carry your channel?

Did WZME drop the Retro network that was on 43.2? Also, any idea when Me-TV will switch over to their new affiliate KVNV, which was to happen 2Q or by the end of this month?
The Works sounds like a format tried by WKOB, ch 42 in NY. I think they called it Drive In Movie or perhaps 24/7 Movies, with mostly B&W movies from the '30s to '50s.

They moved Retro TV to Channel 43.3. Then they dropped it due to a dispute with Luken Communications as of June 1st. I suspect the new ME-TV New York will launch sometime in July. Someone posted that a Comcast system in Jersey will be adding KVNV on July 31st to their line up.
