It turns out KPLX playing more older country songs has caused ratings to go up a share into #3 in the ratings. (Likely some good 25-54 numbers, too.) Gold-friendly stations (AC, Classic Hits, etc.) have been doing well during the early 2020s, and country radio may not be as different.

On another note, sister-station KSCS is languishing in 13th place.
 
KPLX moved from 10th to Tied-5th in 25-54*;
from 5th to 2nd in 18-34* and from 7th to 4th 18-49.
