Wow it seems like Z 97 has been looking for an afternoon driver and promotions person for what seems like eternity, while "101 The Fox" is also looking for an afternoon driver and production guru as well ! If Mr. Reed is leaving for bigger and better, we say congrats, good luck, and a job well done since he is rocking out on afternoons currently.
 
oh boy! 2 openings to choose from ;D Hey JoJo...sweetie...who should I choose? can I POKE( ;D) the Bear? Play with Houdini? Would I get lost on the Island with Gilligan and his gang? ::) Would the Professor like a boy like me? :p Am I safer with Nassau family? Pretty Boy eagerly awaits for any advice from anyone in Rutland. I may want to make the move to your town. Will I make friends? Maybe me and my stud Mr. Marbles can play once in a while ;D So many legends down there! I am eager to learn. Who can teach me?

Depends what you are looking for PBT.. If Kracko were looking to go one of those routes, Kracko would take the Nassau route since Kracko likes his rock and roll. Personal tastes notwithstanding, Kracko sees the Nassau Rutland crew as an easy crew to deal with and work with. They seem to accomplish a lot without a lot of stress, and they know how to promote.. The Pamal group seems to accomplish very little with a lot of unneeded and wasted stress.. This is the group where anything out realm of the, "Name that Noise" promotion on WJJR is a mega-huge deal.
 
PrettyBoy likes a challenge! Maybe Foxy is too easy for me? I like it ruff sometimes ;) I think I'll give 'em a try...what an opportunity to work with the Great Houdini! Maybe he can keep me warm. Hope Pokey Bear doesn't get jealous! I hear things, like big shake ups at Pamal? Might be right for me to slide right in ;D I could be like the special guest on Gilligan's Island1!!! You know, the one that always seems to find his way off the island? Do you think I can make it there? Or is that just another impossible question to answer?

From what we hear at the Kracko Hideout, if you're a glutton for punishment and want to work for a GM and Ops Manager that have absolutely no business at all being positions they are are in.. then I say go for it, and have plan B ready. Better bring some serious band-aids.. You'll be biting your tongue hard.. :p
 
Oh Bigtime! Why do they call you Big-Time? I hope for a couple of reasons ;D Seems you are here...why not play a little? JoJo..me thinks I might rethink the Camel thing. I hear Pokey Bear likes to push the baby bears around at first site! I a fragile little boy. I think I might crack under the pressure. Maybe the Great Houdini can protect me?

PBT...make sure you bring some kind of floatation device. The hidden secret on Gilligan's Island is the volcano on the other side may be ready to blow! I say go for it...the only pressure you'll feel from management is the weight of their ineptitude. You never know...I think you and the Great Houdini will hit it of just fine!
 
wow is right Bigtimebowler!! Finaly someone on this board that knows what they are talking about. JoJo and Dudeman are a couple of clowns who don't understand true corporate radio. You are in good company Bigtimebowler ;) tell me, what do you think about upgrading to nextgen? I'm an old schooler myself and not much of a tech guy ::) I'm one of the last true RADIO guys, I'm not just some boxed voice.
 
So, Professor Mahhhhbles.. Give us your definition of 'true corporate radio'.. Us ' clowns' would love to know your take.. Sounds like "Small Time Bowler" has a chip on their shoulder to me.. ???
 
I'm a good Star Trek fan, and I was watching the episode, "A Piece of the Action" from TOS's second season, and the late Vic Tayback played a gangster charactor named "Jo Jo Kracko", the name stuck.. I'm sure a few folks on this board call me a lot worse.. ;D, Looking to do afternoons in Rutland ??
 
Anyone know where perhaps Frank Reed is heading off to, if he is indeed vacating his afternoon post in the "Fox Den" ? Arguably he's the top of the scale right now, for afternoon shows on the Rutland side of market #179.
