Aging Jocks with lispssss

I know Paul Harvey can barely bang out his show these days, but what is it about the male vocal chords that invite a lisp over time? You ever listen to Casey Kasem on Lite over the weekend?...nails on a chalkboard. Even Mark McCain at Eagle sounds more like Cindy Brady every day! Any doctor-types on this board?

Dentures perhaps?

Big Show Trivia

Okay guys, what was the name of the school bully who beat up Peter Brady and made fun of Cindy's lisp?

Caller number ten wins tickets to the Debbie Boone concert at Phillips Arena.

404-555-Q105! Good luck!

Casey is painful to listen to, but he doesn't lisp, he just sounds weak. The worst for age-related lisping, in my opinion, is Carl Castle (or however you spell his name) doing the AM news on NPR. He makes me cringe.

Carl Kasell, The NPR News guy has the ultimate denture problem. Although he has a great voice and delivery, the constant clicking and saliva-slopping is getting annoying. Try gumming it Carl!
