AGM Webpage updates

It looks like AGM is working on their web presence. The Range now has a page at www.1063therange.com, but type in www.bigoldies.net and you get a page for religious KKIM (AM 1000) resting there. For the Spanish side of the cluster www.elsol1067.com and www.radiolobo.net both yield an 'under development' pop up. Somebody at the Abq office should clue in the head camp at www.americangeneralmedia.com to update their page too.

This would follow with AGM's disposal of the "oldies" label for 98.5. After all, if you are not an Oldies station anymore, you do not want a website called BIGOLDIES. The Range website actually looks like someone is trying to make something decent, but a good web designer would not have the front page wider than a 1024 x 768 screen could display. Probably a tradeout with Hubwest, a local hosting company as seen at

and enter 1063THERANGE.COM

AGM is truly a slow-moving beast. They have finally replaced KTRC's Al Franken with Thom Hartmann, a move they should have made 2 years ago thanks to Thom's Santa Fe exposure. The excuse was that they lacked the equipment to broadcast Air America's syndication channel, but the Santa Fe management has recently been very successful in bringing in sponsors. It may mean that in the wreckage of KAGMs failure they are looking at targeted markets and what was successful rather than competing with KKOB which was doomed from the start.
