FYI and good luck to Steph !!!

Thank you very much unplugged! I have read and watched these boards for many years...okay for about 6 years...I've only been in radio that long. (Go ahead, some of you will say..."and it shows" LOL) I have never posted anything on here and I wasn't going too. But I changed my mind! First off I left on my own, wasn't forced out. It was my own decision. 2nd. I have had the opportunity to work with some AMAZING people at my time with AMP. Bob Richards, Larry Clisby, Steve C., Mike W, Gavin, Beau, Chris Cruise, Scotty, Dan Sommers, Dana, Dan, Rick Prusator, even Marci (gasp she works for the competition!) With that being said, AMP as a whole has been very good to me. I can't complain. In fact, when I was unhappy personally in South Bend, they let me return to Lafayette. (No, it wasn't a publicity stunt) With that being said, I have seen first hand how they haven't been so good to my collegues and friends. Which utlimatley lead to my decision to leave and take another position in the community.

While I was going to Purdue I never intended on getting into radio, it just happened. So I had fun and we tried to entertain WOMEN in the morning. If you didn't like our show, that is fine, but there are people who liked it. The same can be said about WGLM (people do listen in offices) or any other radio station in town. In fact, I've read where people make comments about what they think are crappy shows, and now I can say this...Tony B and Marci have a pretty good morning show...this coming from a "new" listener who is in their DEMO! (See Tony I wasn't blowin you crap, I've listened, I'm not a P1 but I've checked it out!)

I guess I just wanted to say, make sure when you read these boards that you keep it all in "context". Am I done with radio....we'll see....(that should start a few rumors!)

Congratulations on the new job Stephanie! Would you ever consider doing radio part-time? I'm sure there are stations in Indy that would love to have you.

D,

How is the station status (numbers) on your show and how are you connected to McCumulus? I know the show still runs on FMS but are you working for them or being rebroadcast only?

With the changes normally seen at Cumulus stations it would be easy to see them slashing talent for profit.

Need help setting up a home studio? Please call.

Better yet,

We are building new studios here and could have you uplink from Greentucky.

Merry Christmas Chuck!
I hope you and the babies are doing well. Syndication ended 10/30. It was great fun while it lasted. I'll be at WFMS for as long as they'll have me. I'll call or email to catch up. Merry Christmas everyone!
