AHL Hartford Wolfpack to air on WTIC-AM/FM?

I've been hearing something from the seasoon ticket holders of the AHL Hartford Wolfpack. They're insisting that all games are going to air this season on WTIC-FM 96.5 and, in some cases, WTIC-AM 1080, barring any conflict with the Red Sox or U-Conn sports. How the AM part of this would work, I don't know. The games would still air at the teams website, like it has in the past. ???
 
I heard the games are going on 96.5's HD-2 signal, and the season ticket holders were going to get a digital radio. Can anyone confirm this, or was I dreaming?
Seems like a big investment for a minor-league sports franchise in a minor-league market.
 
So this means they won't be on WPOP anymore? I guess it also means no one other than those Wolf Pack season ticket holders will actually be able to listen to the games anymore since no one owns an HD radio.
