Sorry, Joe, but the LPFM filing window has come and gone, and your motion is out of order. You should have filed properly when you had the chance. The rules aren't going to be bent because you didn't know how to file a technically-correct application in a timely manner. And this gives you no right or authority to thumb your nose at the Commission and light up 87.9 anyway.

This whole situation is beyond bizarre. You claimed you were the Houston radio police. You claimed to be on a first-name basis with Steve Lee, and know some people in Washington. Then, all of a sudden, you have become just as bad and corrupt as the people you filed informal complaints against. What caused you to turn back to your criminal ways, Joe?

The LPFM app was withdrawn at the "ministries" request... Once that had happened, it cannot reinstated THREE years later because they changed their mind. The Audio Division is following their own rules... Too bad BJ can't see that and expects to get special treatment.... In the words of Dana Carvey as Bush, "not gonna happen!!"

Sounds like someone gave the ministry some very bad counsel. If I were them, I would take that individual to court and sue the daylights out of him.

Amazing how somebody who claims that he's broke can afford to go to Washington DC more than once.

We had a homeless guy here in Pittsburgh for years. Bob Lansberry. He claimed he was homeless because he was the victim of CIA mind control experiments and that he was under constant government surveillance. He carried a big sandwich board around downtown. On one side it said "Does Secret Radio Control Your Mind?" On the other it said "Why Can't Lansberry Get Mail?"

(denying any conspiracy, the US Postal Service issued a statement saying Mr. Lansberry could not get his mail because he had no permanent address).

Despite living in the streets Lansberry would travel to Washington every year to parade in front of the Capitol with his sandwich board and plead his case. All it takes is a bus ticket.

Get the facts right, CW. You omitted the part about WHY it was withdrawn...

It doesn't matter. That is between you and Roy Henderson, not you and the FCC. The fact of the matter is you withdrew the application, which means you relinquished all claim. If you want to go back and revisit this issue, you need to wait until the next filing window, which is tentatively scheduled for 2025. Just like everyone else who missed out during the last window.

As for this breach of contract claim, you have yet to show me a contract, signed by Roy Henderson or his legal representative. So, all of this is just rumor and conjecture.

In fact, if a contract really existed, it would seem to me that you'd have it plastered to the wall all over the place.

Which you don't.

Frank,

The individual in question has willfully and flagrantly operated a pirate radio station, using an invalid low-power television license for which he is not the licensee and the license, when valid, authorized operation on an entirely different channel with a different output power. He used this pirate station to air paid commercials (on a non-commercial channel), as well as profane and slanderous spots regarding a broadcaster whom he has had a long-running but unenforceable dispute.

This individual also stated that he has secretly-recorded a flash inspection of his pirate radio facility by the resident FCC engineer, and now posts a link to YouTube that involves him discussing cash payments and complaining about the aforementioned broadcaster with whom he had had a long-running but unenforceable dispute.

How exactly do you wish me to handle this situation?

Robert, bring me up to speed, who is the convicted felon masquerading as a minister, as a retired cop I would find it most interesting info.
I wonder if Frank has thought about putting this discussion group into syndicating, Even a good writer well " Smashed " cant come up with stuff like this,
make that two bags of popcorn Robert.

What would you possibly do to get someone to put a private investigator on you? People just don't just wake up one morning and say, hmm, today I think I'll hire some dude to do some poking around on somebody.

He refers to me, Jim. I got in trouble when I was a teenager. The juvenile records were sealed and later expunged. About a year ago a private investigator followed me for a few weeks and started digging into my past. Shortly thereafter Mr. Robert started posting this ancient history on this forum...somehow thinking it's relevant to our discussion .

Sorry, Joe, but it wasn't me who brought this information forward. But I digress. It's always someone else's fault, never yours. Actions have consequences.

The is an interesting sidebar story about lawsuits against the TV stations in Houston that covered certain serial arson incidents.

Court Jesters are funny!

Don't stop the "Thread," Frank!
Television is a boring and this thread is most amuzing, a cross
between amazing and amusing......
This is where everyone can be "Court Jesters," NO?

Robertsez, there was another user name on this board who I know for a fact was the licensee. He first disclosed my past right after I spotted someone following me and taking pictures, and the vehicle he was in was registered to a private investigator with an expired security license. You have picked up with your train running the same track. In a recent comment, you expressly signed the comment with "-- *********." If you aren't *********, you need to quite pretending to be someone you're not. If you are ******** (or perhaps the chip off the block offspring), why don't you try to right some of the many wrongs that you've done over the years?

I'm proud of you, Joe. You figured this out all by yourself. Or did you?

The plot thickens...
