Air 1 in Eastern Iowa?

I was told today that Air 1 was coming in clearly between Cedar Rapids and Iowa City at 88.9FM.

If you're aware of EMF's entrance into the eastern Iowa market with a signal other than the one in the Quad Cities, would you please share your knowledge?

Thank you-

Dave St. John

Probably KAIP in Wapello. It fringes both Iowa City and the QC. It does has the potential to cover Cedar Rapids if the band conditions are right and the radio in your car is of good quality.

That's probably the one. I haven't been able to check it out yet, but I did notice the callsign change in an FCC notice. 88.9 Wapello signed on with K-Love last year, right before they bought 98.9 in the Quad Cities.
