Air 1 in Nashville?

I was looking on Air 1's (Hot AC CCM) website at their station list and saw that they now have translators in Nashville on 92.3, Franklin on 106.3, and Hendersonville on 100.3. How long have these been on, and were some of these former WAY-FM translators? Also, are these possibly translating an HD 2 subchannel from K-LOVE on 97.1? They're doing something similar in Memphis, and I wish they would do this in the Jackson/Dyersburg area.

Finally, how is their signal inside the city? Usually when I'm in Nashville it's on the West side and in the downtown/Vanderbilt area. Thanks for any info.

Hey, AG, I tuned them in the other day, after reading your message here, and I can tell you that the Nashville translator is at 92.5. We have 92Q at 92.1, so a station at 92.3 would be unlikely here in music city. Can't really tell you anything about the other two because I am almost never in those areas, thus can't pick them up.

Thanks for the info. I'm almost never in Franklin and never in Hendersonville either. I meant to put 92.5 instead of 92.3. I guess my dyslexic fingers struck again. Ill try it on my next trip. Thanks again!

Looks like these translators are relaying WNRQ HD3. iHeart and EMF have reciprocal agreements that involve EMF using translators to relay iHeart stations (AM's and digital subchannels) while EMF gets subchannel space on iHeart HD signals for its translators.
