Listeners to "Seattle's Progressive Talk AM 1090" (KPTK-AM) debate the issue of tape delaying Air America programming on this AM 1090 sponsored message board:
http://www.am1090seattle.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=254
This brings up some interesting questions that Air America will need to address in 2006:
?Should the network exert greater control over affiliates who tape delay Air America programming in favor of Jones programming or Bill Press?
?Should AAR require that Randi be on live?
?Should AAR place Franken and Hartmann in seperate time slots so that stations do not have to choose one or the other?
The first post from the link gives these numbers (I can't verify the accuracy of the numbers):
"The Air America network offers 116 hours of original programming per week and gives affiliates 52 unprogrammed hours for local content, reruns and syndicated content (AirAmerican offers 15 hours for syndication on top of the 116 network hours)."
(Then the poster breaks things down for 1090's hours. I can't verify the authenticity of any of the numbers and percentages about AAR, Jones, and 1090 on the posts.)<P ID="signature">______________
