Air America Radio goes begging

In your specific message, nothing. You just posted about the e-mail you received (I got the same one.) I have no issue with you about that.

My reply wasn't really directed at you.

Why Doesnt Air America Just Do A Stock Offering?

All:

I dont understand this.

Why doesnt Air America offer stock for sale to expand their outlets. For a "For Profit" company to solicit funds in the fashion of a charity is very misleading.

For the reasons stated below, the owners of Air America stand to reap the benefits of this solicitation.

As for their ragging on right wing radio, realize that right wing radio exists ONLY because of the profit generated from advertising and product sales.

Right wing radio is not a charity, is not funded, and is not perpetuated except for any other reason besides profit.

Air America knows this and should not try to recruit the gullible idealistic backer to just "fork over money". Use legitimate market forces and vehicles like stock offerings or business partnerships to expand their "For Profit Business".

they'd have to disclose their finances to public and government.

not willing, so it doesn't happen.

Re: Air America Radio goes begging ** EDITED**

Right-leaning entertainers like Rush, Hannity, etc. have had the opportunity to grow and learn and master their craft....and the ratings reflect their successes.

Too many progressive/liberal talkers just don't do very good radio....and, the ratings reflect them too....poorly.

But, poor ratings for entertainers do not necessarily indicate the entire nation is going "red".

[EDITED DUE TO POLITICAL RANT]

And, radio and TV talk show hosts are just along for the ride earning as much money as they can.

A lot of people who didn't understand it the first time so kept
going back and reading it again and again and again....
