is whjj slowly weeding out air america or are they going to leave al frankenstein from 1-3pm?? I have to tell you, i think that show is just plain awful. and if i hear arlene try to sell one more thing from the ri lottery on her show, I think i will go out of my mind. she's pimping for the ri lottery on half of her shows.<P ID="edit"><FONT class="small">Edited by missdj on 09/20/05 01:50 AM.</FONT></P>

There was a quote from the WHJJ PD saying that an announcement would be made
in a couple weeks re: Franken's slot, and he admitted "the Air America
experiment didn't work out as planned". Was in a ProJo article.

And from radioandrecords last week:
"Street Talk has learned that WHJJ/Providence plans to drop its Air America Radio programming next month in favor of a lineup of mostly local progressive talk shows."
