So, listening to Valley Airwaves, it sounds like Amy Van Dyken is no longer with Mix. She's been 'missing' for about a month now. Did she get laid off?

Also, with the addition of Ruben S to afternoon drives on Mega, it also appears that Raul Torres was let go. Talk about a guy who could relate to his listener.

Two solid talents gone - have I missed any others?

in mid-November that Amy had resigned from KMXP and the AM drive show
continues with Chris solo.

That seems a little strange since 96.9 had been getting some good 25-54
numbers recently...but it is Cheap Channel. Of course one could make a
similar derisive comment about CBS, Fagreedadel, Cumulus... ::)

correction: Talk about a guy who could annoy his listener. He was terrible on Mega and The Beat

Correction Gutso: talk about a guy who got let go for no reason and loved his listener's in Phoenix. he did
eveything he could to annoy that no shoe wearing ass PD and that know it all GM that is never in the office and who should of canned The A-Hole in the morning and put Ruben s in Mornings! That would of been the NO BRAINER! Ruben is a well known morning DJ! Plus gusto, you don't think he will annoy the listener with his ass dumb laugh or loser line? Now they brought in corina for weekends, whatchout Angie Gomez, she is the best talent they got!
 
do I read this correctly? A former radio employee (that was let go for obvious reasons) is now bitter and burning bridges with all the ones left there? Not smart, you never know who you may work for (or with) down the road. They won't be quick to recommend a person who talks trash on facebook or on this forum (which is viewed by every local person who MIGHT hire you). Don't be mad at a whole company just because you aren't fit for a format.

And for the record, I never backed Ruben, nor dissed him. But I think regardless of his level of strength, it surely is a notch above "Flip Flops"!

listen Radio yoda, Another know it all! You are the one that started the negative post about the hard working guy. To say he was terrible when the 1st post on this thread was a compliment shows how smart you really are!

was simply disagreeing with the 1st post. was not trashing a whole group of people. Are you intentionally referring to yourself as "he"? Because your profile info matches the person you're describing....could be a coincidence i guess.
 
raul torres probably went the the island of misfit dj's, know as riviera broadcasting. ruben could do mornigs on knrj with corina, but i'm sure that sierra doesn't want to take out alex using their sister station.
