Aircheck folder: KLBU--Blu 102.9 MHz Pecos-Santa Fe, NM

In 2004 I made several recordings of KLBU/Blu 102.9 when they began streaming on the internet. Many of the files I recorded were on Minidisc and require transfers to mp3. Currently, I have uploaded one recording made on 17 November 2004. It is 96/44.1 Stereo and runs 81 minutes. There will be more in the future, but you can at least download this one for now from this folder link:

It's a shame this station does not stream on the internet, and from what I gather, doesn't plan to do so anytime soon.

Thanks, Look forward to more. Have you checked their website lately? I sent them an email a while back and they said they did have plans to return the stream eventually?

Nock

BTW if you liked Blu check groovera.com in particular the jetcity lounge

Didn't KLBU go thru some ownership change in the past year? I thought I read they were to combine formats with some other station in the Santa Fe area.

They used to stream and I found their downtempo/chill format pretty good. I thought CD101.9 in NY had a better approach a few years ago when they tried chill/SJ because I do find listening to chill exclusively can cause a little overload and the need to hear something else (at least to me).

I used to converse with Blake Lawrence when he was PD of BPM on XM. But once he went to CD101 he stopped writing back.
Guess he became too important for his listeners.

Check Blu's new and improved website. Music looks like it has been tweaked a little more on the jazz side?
