Aircheck: KASE 100.7 Austin 3/7/2006

KASE 100.7 Austin...musically, it sounds the same as most of its Clear Channel country sisters around the country (sister KVET 98.1 is the more musically diverse). Imaging is a little unique in that the voice of the station is Texas country singer/songwriter Jack Ingram, who recently relocated from Dallas to Austin and now becoming known across the country for his "Wherever You Are" single that has broken through on the charts.

I got to meet Jack at a meet-&-greet promotion -- he does have a cool, laid-back sounding voice.

KASE has been the #1 station in Austin most of the periods in the last ? years.

I think Bob-FM beat them in one or two books but I heard that KASE is number one again.
