Currently St. Louis has two smooth jazz stations. Both stations operate as HD subchannels, and neither stream online. In the past I have posted several hours of Emmis' locally programmed "Hip 96-3" (KNOU HD-3, formerly KIHT HD-3). I like how the station throws in tracks atypical for the format such as chill and mainstream jazz cuts that fit the format.
The other is the HD2 of iHeart's KMJM. This station has migrated froom 104.9 to 100.3 where it currently resides. For years the station carried the smooth jazz feed that iHeart sent them, but I have noticed that is no longer the case. Now, it is a non-stop music feed instead. Last week, I recorded nearly a day's worth of programming from this station and uploaded it for your listening pleasure. It is sliced into 22 manageable sections suitable for any iPhone/iPod, mp3 player or PC of your choice. The files are 192/44.1 variable bit rate and can be found here:
