A little something different...
This is KPIR 1420 Granbury TX "the Pirate." KPIR is a small station southwest of Fort Worth. It's a mix of ABC's Real Country with some local programming. The local programming is more Americana/Texas country. This is the first part of their local "Lone Star Saturday Night" show from the weekend that features Texas-based country/Americana/blues performers, including some live performances. Nearby KCUB-FM 98.3 Stephenville "Texas 98" has a Texas country format 24/7. It's slated to move away (to 98.5 Ranger TX along I-20 between Fort Worth and Abilene) to make way for forthcoming Dallas move-in KBOC 98.3.

Kind of interesting stuff -- not a clone. In fact, if anyone has recent airchecks of these Texas outlets, I would be interested...KRPT 92.5 San Antonio, KFAN/KEEP 107.9/103.1 Fredericksburg, KRVL 94.3 Kerrville, or KSEY-FM 94.3 Seymour.
