Aircheck: KYKY-HD-2 (Chill) 28 July 2009

I recently purchased the portable HD radio that Best Buy's house brand, Insignia, is selling. There are a few stations in our market that have some side channels that I was interested in hearing. One of them is CBS owned KYKY's Chill channel on HD-2. As far as I know, they are not streaming.

The recording was made on 28 July 2009, and was run directly into a Harmon-Kardan CDR-2 compact disc recorder, and encoded as a 128/44.1 .mp3 file. The folder is here, and more may be added in the future:

Another 2 hour and 23 minute aircheck was uploaded to the folder a couple of days ago. What I didn't realize was that the chill format would be dropped so quickly. Today, "Chill 98.1" was replaced by some sort of AAA format, and not a very good one at that. I'm glad I recorded these two airchecks when I did. The second file was encoded at 96/44.1.
