I really liked the Q102 night show back then, and so I made several airchecks. I was a freshman in high school when this show aired. It's also interesting to hear the music from that time. I like the stunts they performed on the show, you don't have that anymore. They even had a chat room for the listeners.
I never really listened to them on Kiss in Pittsburgh though, I should.

You'll also notice they're giving away tickets to Hot 97's Summer Jam in Giants Stadium. Hot 97's not a Clear Channel station, so it's ironic that Q102 was giving away tickets to their event.

Also, on their top 5 countdown, Camel Toe by Fannypack was the #1 song. I guess that's one of those "lost hits"

Damn, I guess nobody liked Power 99 back then ;D

I have to say that Tic Tak sounds just the same now on Now. The Hot Girl Check In is still there :) And on day 2, he's got his promotions team out to the edge of the city grade contour in New Jersey and Long Island giving out stuff (Piscataway, NJ and Merrick, NY).
I love how he interacts with the listeners. I hope he'll start pulling stunts or giving out a prize in a unique way just like he did on Q. I would really like if he started a chatroom for the station and its listeners, which is what got me hooked to listening to him on Q102.
The audience of 92.3 Now would be a little more mature than his old Q102 audience, as it's during PM drive with commuters getting home from work, so some of his old antics may not work well.

But please, don't play that Camel Toe song.

Two things:

How about a higher bitrate? Or cut out the music (we're listening to the mic checks, right?) You have up to 300 MB-why did you cram 3 hours into 26 MB?

Why are all the new jocks everywhere so nasal sounding?
