Aircheck/Skimming Software

I'm doing some research trying to find out the best and easiest software for doing airchecks / skimming. The PD's at my station want software that will allow for mic hookup to start and stop the machine. What kinds of software are you using? The one I was told about was called Eskimmer...but can't seem to get that website to work.
