Aircheck: WLVE ("Love 94") 93.9 MHz 19 May 1997

Miami's primary station for smooth jazz from the 1990's through 2008 was "Love 94" WLVE. Here is a recording of the station through their internet stream. During the dial-up era of internet streams, stations could be less than reliable even at low bitrates. I did some equalizing and removed gaps where buffering interrupted the stream. Nevertheless, I think it is an enjoyable listen.

The files are 192/44.1 and can be found at these links:

Thanks for sharing. Brings back great memories of radio in South Florida. I take it this was pre Clear Channel ownership?

Anyone recall when the call letters were WWWL - From the Deauville Hotel and the morning host was G.Michael McKay? I remember the faux traffic reports by Jimmy Carpool from the underground parking garage - sponsored by the "U-Leta Park and Pool whose slogan was See U-Leta!

WAEZ 94.9 was at the Deauville but I didn't know that 93.9 was there as well.
