Aircheck: WXDJ "The Breeze" Miami 24 January 1990

For over 20 years WXDJ has been known as "El Zol," a heritage Spanish Tropical formatted station. But in the late 1980's the station was one of the early affilates of SMN's "The Wave" network. Sometime in late 1989 WXDJ ended their affiliation with "The Wave" and switched to a locally-based NAC/Smooth Jazz station. As of this recording the station was referring to itself as "The Breeze."

Over a year ago, I received this aircheck, courtesy of "Bossmsx," and he gave me the OK to make it available for anyone who would like it. Here is the link to the file, which is 192/44.1:
