airchecks--mp3's?

does anybody know how to put airchecks to MP3's on a home computer? I have a new HP with the red and white audio plugs already!! Not sure if I need a specific software or what? HELP!! THANKS!!
 
I would think you would have to hook a cassette deck up to your computer (or a boom box) and record them into a Cool Edit Pro or something....
