Airchecks of Brother Barry Kent

With all this internet storage who has airchecks of the past days of WNDE on the web?

I don't think Barry Kent ever worked at WNDE in Sullivan.

Brother Barry Chase worked on WNDE in 1977...he was superb.

I pray those calls dont ever wind up in Sullivan despite the fact that they copied them with a similar set of call letters.

Is their transmitter still in the middle of a cornfield?

Oh yeah. WNDE is in Indy. WNDI is in Sullivan. And I remember Barry Chase on WNDE. He was good. Barry Kent is a Terre Haute institution!

1550 WNDI. I had heard that their AM tower (Rohn 25) had recently fallen down when the guy wires rusted thru. I hear it's in the process of being re-erected.

Wasn't Berry Kent on WBOW in the late 60's and early 70's?? I remember seeing him and Bryan Thomas doing a live remote at the old East Side Drive-Inn celebrating WBOW's 60th anniversary with a Three Stooges marathon. They were spinning the records live on-air, bring it to you live and in color!! Too bad radio doesn't do that today.
