Airwave light bulbs

It is not a 658.
I have a couple of Airwaves but can't call the lamp number from memory. It is a clear LED with twin leads and is pricey.
I bought a box of 'em from Harris years ago - I'm thinking they may be around $1 each today. The last time I bought lamps from Harris they were exceptionally expensive but I could not source them anywhere else....

Bi-pins won't fit. T3/4 size w/wire leads.
Might have to convert the modules to work with those super bright LEDs.
Buttons would end up with a spot of illumination 'sted of the whole cap.
That would be OK as long as they all looked the same.

Hmmm.

Mooretronix has replacement LED ON/OFF button assembly.

"And now for something completely different."

Would have to spend $45 x 18 to retrofit a single Airwave.
That is if you want them to look good.
Four Airwaves here.

Maybe the (LMP) "M680" 5v 60 mA might be it. But that's a 60,ooo hr bulb and kinda dim!
Need a way to measure the MCD on the stock bulb.
Big diff from the 60,000 hr 5v @60 mA bulb and the 10,000 hr 5v @60 mA bulb. The short life of the stock bulb makes me doubt there the 60k hr version.

Problem I'm having had is nobody seemes to have the Chicago Miniture 10k hr or 3k hr version in stock.

Harris is famous for that kind of stuff. Their restock fees are terrible too. Support has improved, but parts costs and return stock fees remain in crazy mode. (if they still have the part in the first place)

$4.70 each from Harris.
We have spare button modules. But of course I wanted to make the old one work again.
Shocked to find it was not a hall effect or something like that, but conductive rubber
pads like a TV remote control or the infamous Gentner TS6-12 surface.
