Al Bernstein on CBS-FM

I thought Al sounded great. Talked a little bit about other stations including the old NEW-FM & WKHK! To my ears he sounded a lot like Big Ron O'Brien both in voice quality & mannerisms. And Ron has already been on "legends" at least a couple of times.

He should be offered a full-time weekend slot. They have two slots in my opinion they could give him. Saturdays 10-2 is currently occupied by Broadway Bill Lee and Sundays 3-7 is occupied by Ron Parker. Both men could conceivably vacate those slots since they're full-timers and turn the slot over to Bernstein. Just a thought.

Al is a pro's pro. There is no question any station would be lucky to have talent like him on staff. Aside from his radio talent, he is a great guy.

hey, richard...

iirc, several months ago, LITE-FM basically cleaned house -- they got rid of Al, Valerie...all the ORIGINAL ones...it was a miniature version of what was done to a station further down the dial :( on 6/3/05...
