Former CLEAR CHANNEL Oldies KLOU/ST. LOUIS PD AL BROCK is still "On The Beach" but moreso literally than figuratively as he is the new OM at CUMULUS/MYRTLE BEACH, SC.

BROCK will oversee seven stations, including Top 40 WSEA, Urban WDAI, N/T/S WIQB-A, Sports WJXY-F & WXYJ-F, Country WYAK, and Oldies WYSN (SUNNY 106.5), where he will also be the PD
______________

Good luck to Al! I was at Citadel in upstate Ny when AL was across town at CC. I wouldn't want to be the onr programming against him.

Hope you enjoy the Palmetto State Al! Great to have you down here, and look luck in your new position!

First I think this will help Sunny 106.5 by maybe getting it back to how it was and making the station sounding better. He doesn't need to touch The Team or K Country. The only other station to fix is 98.5 KissFM and making it more a CHR/Rythmic instead of urban slow jams. I do sometimes hear them playing some 50 Cent songs along with others so they aren't so urban slow jams anymore.

Kiss is fine, I think they sound good. I hope he doesn't want to take it more CHR since I work at the clusters CHR WSEA.

Those decisions fall more to CHR/AC Brand Manager Jan Jeffries than the local OM. Unfortunately Jan will dictate.
______________

Hot 100 does sound better then Mix 97.7, I even hear some people don't even like the new morning show on Mix. Only bad part is WSEA's single to bad it wasn't stronger.
