I'm sure the people of Brattleboro wonder why the station is bringing in such a 'conservative".....for their political preferences.

I saw Al in Boston on this tour. He was pretty good, but if you stay to get an autograph, don't crack any jokes. I said something I thought was pretty witty and he just glared at me. Maybe he was tired, or maybe he thinks humor is best left to the professionals. I'm not sure.

Al seems he's always like that. Tired or not.
Edited by DOB on 04/01/06 04:14 PM.

As a resident of Brattleboro, I can say that we are not all as "blue" as the rest of the world thinks we are. This just happens to be home to some very liberal folks who also happen to be quite vocal. Not that there's anything wrong with that. And, yes, Brattleboro became the 6th town (and the largest yet) in the People's Republic of Vermont to call for Our Fearless Leader and Savior President George Walker Bush's impeachment at its March 25th town meeting. At least the lefties are letting us keep our guns. For now. Provided that we don't actually use them, of course. Enough politics, I'm going back to my lovely meal of organically grown free range hickory smoked Birkenstocks*, hydroponically grown ragweed, and a nicely chilled mug of some of the finest 2005 vintage dandelion wine Windham County has to offer. Mmmm-mmm.

Peace,

He seemed rather like that on TODAY.
