Al Roney is back!!

Excellent !!! The market needs live/local radio. Al R. will add great dimension and depth to Talk 1300...now the drama is what is the Don Weeks major announcement about that just presented itself on the WGY website?

It's not the strongest but most will be listening on the net, so your concerns are for naught.

The power was doubled awhile back. There are still dead spots and poor reception areas. Can always listen online..

Does 1300 AM's signal still suck like it did when it was an ESPN station?

Yes it does still suck. I find if I turn off the air conditioner/heat/defroster fan and unplug my cell phone charger and turn it up real loud.... I can just about hear it, but it's fuzzy.

Good luck to Al, but I won't be listening. Even if I wanted to.

googly: "Really? I can always listen online? Even when I'm driving in the car?"

Yes. Welcome to the 21st Century. We have talking movies now too.... in color! Loosen up with 89 cents and splurge by treating yourself to an app.
