Alabama Broadcaster of the Year is...

Tommy Lee - GM of WQSB/WAVU/WKXX was named Broadcaster of the Year this afternoon at the Alabama Broadcasters Association convention in Orange Beach.

Tommy gave me my first FM job and taught me a good chunk of what I know about radio. Congrats Tommy and thanks for giving me the opportunities so long ago.
 
Tommy is a legend and is loaded with knowledge about how radio should be done in Alabama. He's definitely deserving of the honor.
