Alabama Stations with the Most Sets of Call Letters

Can anyone top 106.9 in Birmingham? Granted, it's one of the oldest FM's in the state, but over 60 years it's been: WBRC, WERC, WKXX, WBMH, WIKX, WODL and WBPT.

Then there's 97.3 in Birmingham. It's been on the air only since 1998, but it's on its fifth different callsign: WEDA, WRLR, WODL, WNCB and now WZNN.

If I'm not mistaken, 1320 in Birmingham has been through at least seven: WEZB, WENN, WAGG, WEZN, WZZK, WRJS, WPSB and now back to WENN.

Don't think anyone in Mobile area can top those Bham ones you mention ... let's see.... 92.1 has been WABF FM, WHSP, WZEW, WGCX, then back to WZEW.... 104.1 has been WATM FM, then WIZD, then WGCX, WYOK, WDWG, and ...................

The amazing thing is you can change call letters on line in about 10 minutes. ::)
