I know Alan Barnes.

Alan Barnes is a friend of mine.

And, Batman, and TrafficDude, you are NO Alan Barnes.

Yes, it is the same Alan Barnes, worked Corsicana/Tyler, a successful stage acting career, and currently doing early morning traffic on WBAP.

He is a 'pro'. I worked with him for several years. Anyone who has will agree.

Bobglen, you are soooo right about Alan Barnes. He is a true professional and a consummate gentleman. I have known Alan for many years. He is a delightful, talented broadcaster and someone who I consider a true friend.

I just asked if the Corisicana lineup listing a Barnes was the same Alan Barnes that does traffic.

Show me one post where I "talked trash" about him.

Why would you say that?

I simply asked a question if the Corisicana Alan Barnes was the same person discussed in a previous post.

That original post listed someone named "Allan" Barnes.

Show me one post -- just one -- where I talked "trash about this man".

Alan is a nice guy.

I heard he was a good jock in Tyler. Again, just wondered if the Corsiciana Alan Barnes listed was the same person. The original postings as I mentioned were titled "Allan" Barnes.

But hell, people can't spel on dis bored any hoo.

Geez.

I worked with Alan Barnes on my very first gig in Corsicana. He's the man who taught me how to be a good jock! I owe much of my success to the training I recieved from Alan, Dick Aldama and Roy Miller.

Next time you talk to him, please tell him Kevin Mc from KAND says HI, and if you don't mind I'd like to get back in touch with him. Any way I can contact you off the board and get you to forward an email and phone number?
