Alan Colmes question

I recently read where someone was saying that when WNBC put Alan Colmes in PM drive, it was some sort of proof that they had no intention of continuing as a music station.
Here's the quote: "Colmes was (and still is) a well known comedic/political satarist. He wasn't a disk jockey."
Isn't there only one radio personality with this name, the same guy who was a great music jock on WPIX and WHN?
