Alan Cox to mornings on Q101

He's a Chicago native who's been working in Pittsburgh for at least five years. He was dropped in the great CBS radio budget cut.

Alan Cox was also an alumni of ENERGY 88.7 WLUW-FM (1993-1994). He worked our morning show as well before moving east. Awesome guy, hilarious stuff, and I'm sure there are a few WLUW alumni lurking around here who are equally as proud as I am of Alan's achievements!

Great for Chicago, but sucks for Pittsburgh. His was the only show worth listening to. I'm glad he got to go home...that's pretty cool. Anyone know when he is starting? I want to listen on line.

He's in town on Monday, though only for some station House keeping and preparation stuff. He didn't say when he goes on the air.
