Alaska TV and Prime Time

I notice that Prime Time in Alaska is different for Anchorage and Fairbanks. All tv stations in Anchorage uses the Central/Mountain Time Zone format, while Fairbanks (except for the ABC Station) uses the Pacific/Eastern Time Zone format. Why did Fairbanks starts their primetime at 8pm vs 7pm? It makes sense to start at 7pm since they are inline with networks West coast feeds which starts at 8pm Pacific. I know all of Hawaii tv stations starts their prime time at 7pm.
