Pamal really failed with Rock 100.9 and Cat Country... bring Magic back to FM :)

Why didn't they go after PYX instead of the Q? PYX is obviously a bigger threat, you'd want to compete with PYX (who just lost the Wolf recently) with an 80s/90s based classic rock format :)
 
Yeah Rock 100.9 has not fared very well since it launched last year. Surprising though both Rock 100.9 & CAT are getting better numbers than Crush 105.7 which has been steadily declining.
 
For 105.7, I'd recommend swapping the analog/HD1 and HD2/99.1 formats :) A signal like 105.7 could put a hurt on Jamz... if not, maybe Rhythmic AC or some Oldies format?
 
Rock 100.9 is a decent sounding station with a pretty good signal...so I am surprised that they aren't doing better. They don't really promote the station though...so I don't think a lot of people even know that it is there. Their competitors...PYX and QBK have been around for decades. Also...that former traffic reporter really shouldn't be doing the evening show. It is really hard to listen to...

He was doing Rock on 104.9 before it went Country and sounded good.
