Albany is party central this weekend!

Larkfest & The Stones. It should be hoppin' around Albany this weekend. Larkfest has some awesome bands, let's hope mother nature isn't too harsh. Forecast is actually starting to improve a bit. Any chance Keith Richards will show up to see the Dandy Warhols? They sing that song about being a junkie, just seems natural he'd be there. Did I hear correctly that WEQX is the only radio sponsor of Larkfest? Kudos to them if it's the case. I would think everyone would be there from the radio community. See you all at the fest. I'll the one passed out on the steps of the church!

Yeah..just what I wanna see, the same old people that show up every year with their snakes, dogs, ferrets and listen to mediocre bands at best! Hmmm...Irishfest is the better and bigger party this year, that's why you won't see any radio at Larkfest..plain and simple!

What a bitter post! Not sure what your hostility is all about, but Larkfest rocked! The bands were awesome, there was one of the largest crowds ever(if not the biggest) and I saw a few people that I didn't know. All in all I'd say it was a complete success. I've been to more Larkfests than I can remember, and anyone who thought this year would be the same old same old was sadly mistaken. Since I didn't see any other radio stations there, I have assume it was exclusive to WEQX. They did a great job! I wish they were in Albany more. If you EQX'ers are reading this, good work!
