Albany market

I don't understand why there is so little activity from the Albany area. A few years ago it was mostly albany and WFLY.

Fine! Brandy and Cowboy, here's a little something-something: You know what I can't stand about the Albany market? All these young kids at Fly, Kiss and Jamz! It's not their personality but some of the words that they use while delivering a break. Words like "gonna hook you up"! Seriously! That sounds so unprofessional. Other ones that I can't stand are words like "dude" or "Yo!". Man that makes me wanna switch real quick. UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!! And outdated too. Another thing that I hate that they do, is when it's midnight at Fly and the jock goes into a break saying "Good Morning!". AAAHHHH!!! Just to try to sound cool. I hate that! No! Morning doesn't start 'til 3 'oclock at a radio station. Specially when they're doing club fly at midnight. Don't tell people that it's morning on a Saturday night at midnight! What the hell are they thinking!? Alot of People are on their way to the bar or night club at that time. Aaahhh! I hate that! So there, hopefully I gave you something to talk about Brandy, Cowboy and everyone else.

Haaaa!!! I'm speechless! That's the crap that I mean!! Yo! Yo!! Chill! These jocks and jocketes speak to the hood! Pleeeeaasssee!!! It's like you don't get what I'm saying! (lol). Oh about Fly beating GNA, Haa! Keep dreaming! Oh! and about putting Dj Thomas down, come on! That girl can school some of those part-timers there at Fly! Her caliber of delivery is ten times better and more energetic than some of those kids at fly. Some of those kids have potential, but they have some tuning up to do.

Out of curiosity, how should they talk? Since you seem to be in touch with what all the younger audiences are saying these days maybe you should help out those "kids" at FLY or JAMZ or even KISS, and tell them what to say. "Hook you up with or "Yo yo yo" is not acceptable in your eyes, so please oh great and wise nj101 tell us what verbage should be used. Maybe they should be all proper and not be themselves on the air. Most of the weekend jocks that I've heard on FLY are sound better then what cha hear during the week.

Gus Gus, so you're saying the weekend jocks at fly sound better than Brian, Chrissy and Jim, better than terry, better than Marissa and Tanch? [EDIT] Are you kidding me? The only ones that sound decent on the weekends are eddie and Dee Scott!

Have you listened to Fly after the Rush is off the air? Is it hard to sound better then what's on there? Come on man, you're telling me that the jocks sound good? Gimme a break! Since when is being a absolute yucker considered sounding good? The only jock that's listenable is Tanch.

gus, Tanch is good! I agree with you. But dude, you can't knock terry, marissa down either. They're very good. And as far as Brian, jim, and crissy, they don't yuck! You tell me who has better contents than they do? The only ones that live up to them, in my opinion, are randy and trent on the river. And of course Jason Keller at channel is very good too.

You must have misunderstood. I never said that Brian, Chrissy and Jim were "yuckers". I agree that they are without question one of, if not the, best morning shows in the market. The others in question however, are difficult to listen to.

Ok, Maybe i'm running a little late on the topic here. But Seriously. The jocks on these station are speaking to the TARGET DEMO. Do we know what the TARGET DEMO means boys and girls?

Yeah, The FLY Morning Rush sounds good, But Terry? Puhleez. Tanch can hold his own. Haven't heard much of the weekend. But it's your typical Top 40. So what do you want?

JAMZ- There's no kids there, unless you count the voice of the 5 year old that does mid-days. Seriously, I've never heard someone sound so out of place. it's like Skipper does Hip Hop. The guyz at night are annoying as hell, but it works for them. And their rating proves it. As for mornings? I miss hearing Sarah fight with Big Ray. It's too bad the rug was yanked from underneath her. That new guy was horrible. Thank God he's gone already!
