102.3 WKKF - Mainstream Top 40 (did it lean Rhythmic back then? I don't remember)
103.1 WHRL - Alternative Rock
103.5 WQBJ - (simulcast of WQBK)
103.9 WQBK - Active Rock
104.5 WABT - All 80s (flipped from Rhythmic AC a few months prior, I believe)
104.9 WZMR - Smooth Jazz

1240 WVKZ - talk? classic country? don't remember which...
1300 WTMM - ESPN Radio
1330 WHAZ - Christian
1400 WABY - all-news/AC (just before Galaxy bought this and 94.5)
1460 WGNA - country (shortly after, sold to Radio Disney)

Another possible footnote: Weren't 103.5/103.9 running Stern mornings around this time?

Yes, I believe they ran Howard Stern until the end of his terrestrial radio run (2005) when the station rebranded as "Q103" and put Free Beer and Hot Wings on :)

Not the same "Q103" that we know of when it was WQQQ before it becomes a station for NPR know as WSHU Public Radio.

He is referring to WQBK 103.9 and WQBJ 103.5 in the Albany market...And yes...they did rebrand from 1035/1039-The Edge to Q103 at the end of 2005 when Howard Stern left terrestrial radio. WQBK was actually Stern's first client at the time that his show became syndicated in 1992. At that time WQBK was a Classic Rock station branded as Q-104 and only broadcast on 103.9....
