Albany-Schenectady-Troy Arbitrons: Winter 2011

Buzz flipped to Crush on January 3, 2011, right after going all-Christmas... now look where they are :)

Some things surprised me though: River ahead of B95? When's the last time this happened? Also, both Cat and GNA are up this book, kinda surprised me... (anyone remember if WRVE was ever #1? I know WYJB, WFLY and WGY have all been #1 before aside from WGNA)

It's still a bit early for WPTR, as they flipped from Christian to Oldies mid-book... let's wait on that. As for Bridge? Time for a new format... classic rock to attack PYX, maybe? Or simulcast WKBE (to join the "Click" ;))...
 
I remember quite a few people were bashing CRUSH, bash now beotches! I'm impresssed with their book. They were at the bottom what a year ago? The combination of air talents is great. They need to change 1 of 2 of their jocks and they are all set!
 
Not only did WGY get a boost with the FM simulcast, people tend to go to WGY in the winter months especially when you have a lot of rough weather like we had this winter. They are looking for travel and weather info.
