Al Roney and Steve & Jackie are the only ones under the age of AARP.

Why is most of the local talk talent so "mature"?

Yeah, come to think of it, why are they all so "mature", white and Conservative. Diversity, thy name is not Talk Radio.

Forgot about those codgers. I really enjoy listening to Roney and Steve & Jackie, they are at least energetic. PV, Lynch, Weeks have all been on so long and they recycle the same rants over and over. It's like listening to your grandfather tell the same stories over and over. They all complain about the same things, at least I think the younger ones may actually do something about it. At least I laugh, especially when I tune into S&J. Just my opinion.

Well for all the aarp, crumudgeon comments did you notice who received the Metroland "Best Of" 2009 awards for best Political Talker and Best Local Talker....ummmmmmm yup Fred Dicker and Dan Lynch respectively....I guess that means your opinions on Roney and S+J arent so hip.....

Experience and education isn't all assimilated into the brain at the age of 25. You aren't worldly enough really to do talk radio.

Since when did WROW end up in the crapper both ratings and programming wise? A couple years ago they managed to pull 3s...now they are only at a 1.2, and most of the local programming is gone. How sad.
